Elder Michael Wilson is currently an Elder at Love Fellowship Church, under the leadership of Pastor Woodrow Wilson.   Michael was led by God and directed by his Pastor Willie I Graves Jr of St Phillips Baptist Church to join with his brother in establishing Love Fellowship Church.  After 20 years of membership at St Phillips Baptist Church, Michael was committed to support Pastor Wilson in building Love Fellowship Church. During the last five years of training Michael has joyfully operated in the gifts of ministry, preaching and teaching and submitting himself to God’s work.

Michael was born on June 8,1962 to Woodrow & Mary Wilson (Mother of the Church), who stressed the importance of reaching out and helping others.

Elder Michael accepted the Lord as a young child and responded to the call of sharing the gospel; Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. (Mark 16:15) His street ministry began when he was only 9 years old, and he led several of his friends to Christ.

In 2009, Michael was instrumental in the outreach ministry by leading lost souls to Christ at St Phillips Baptist Church.  He assisted in the development and coordination of The SideWalk Sunday School Evangelist Ministry. They ministered throughout different communities and urban streets of Philadelphia, preaching the Good News.

During the 1990’s Minister Michael assisted with the development of the Way To Life Recovery Ministry under the coordination of his brother Elder Woodrow Wilson. This ministry reached out to suffering addicts and alcoholics and introduced them to Christ and a new way of life.

Michael found his wife, Dr. Nancy (Williams) while serving at St Phillips Baptist Church, she is the daughter of the late Florence Williams (Mother of the Church). Michael believed that if you delight yourself into the Lord he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalms 37:4 Michael has one beloved son, Velonza Shayne Frederick, and together they have a beautiful music ministry.

Through the Gospel, God has given Michael a desire to reach out to the down-trotted and less fortunate, his passion to help others, led to his career in counseling and therapy. He has worked with others in Genesis II Residential Program, The Key Program at Gander Hill Prison, and currently employed at Temple University Episcopal Hospital.

Michael has had the privilege of going to South Africa to implement a research project to the local practitioners, to empower and educate their communities about the negative impact of HIV/AIDS in Africa.

Michael has attended N, C, & T State University, Deliverance Bible Institute, Temple University in psychology and received his graduate degree from Lincoln University.

 Janie has been a founding member of the church with her husband Pastor Woodrow C. Wilson, Jr. She is committed and willing to serve the Lord and others.

• Responsible for budgeting, spending and writing reports 
• Establishing procedures for incoming/outgoing correspondence,            programs and publications.
• Record keeping and overseeing the administrative functions of the Office 
• Planning and organizing the work duties for the staff in the Ministry of Helps. Voluntarily working 25-30 hours weekly

Pastor Wodrow C. Wilson, Jr. was appointed to serve as Love Fellowship Church Senior Pastor Sept 11, 2011. Prior to that, he served as Elder of New Beginnings House of Prayer and Deliverance, Inc. Pastor Timothy Harris in Philadelphia, PA.

The attributes that best describe Pastor Wilson as a pastor are strong preaching, teaching, leadership development and counseling. He has expressed a burning desire to lead a church like Love Fellowship where biblical views are embraced and encouraged, with members who care about the needs of those around them and who want to connect others to the body of Christ. Pastor Wilson takes worship and preaching very seriously, spending much time in prayer, study and meditation in God's presence.

He graduated from Deliverance Evangelistic Bible Institute in 1993. Also, he was licensed to preach by Pastor Willie I. Graves of St. Phillips Baptist Church, who trained him in leadership and ministerial studies. Under the leadership of Pastor Timothy L. Harris, NBHOP&D from 1999 until 2011 he served as an Elder, where he was trained in Pastorial functions and overall church administration.  

Pastor Wilson has been happily married for over 20 years  to his wife, Janie Wilson. They have four Children, Edtwana, Cepeda, Dontae and Dimitrius as well as three grandchildren Dimitrius, Jr., Caira and Daniel.

Pastor Wilson has served faithfully at Love Fellowship Church from Sept 2011 to the present time.
